Hi Antonio, very emotive shot. I think the selective colour does serve a purpose in this image, and I like what you've done with it. I only think the woman is placed just a bit too close to the left edge of the image, which slightly unbalances the composition, but other than that, I like this one alot. Very reportive and a powerful image.

Cheers,

Hugo

Hi Antonio,

like your rework, it works very well to create a contrast between the (depressed) woman and the old building.

well seen and composed.

take care,
thilo

Very nicely done, Antonio!
Excellent work.
Best regards, Chris
P.S. Please forgive me not catching up with every shot I've missed ~ much as I'd like to. I've just got too much on right now!

you are quite right Gil, this was my problem during cropping; there were a crowded scene disturbing the woman meditation in my opinion

Interesting interaction between the woman and the stone post. Excellent use of B/W and selected color gives the image added power. I wonder if a little more room to the left of the woman would make the composition stronger? I feel like she is a bit crowded to the edge, although it does add tension. Will she fall out of the photo?
