This is such an artistic piece. I like the detailes of the grass occupying the majority of the frame, punctuated by the boy/man in the ivory shirt which is simple and full of light. The dark area in the grass lies opposite to the light shirt, drawing the eye back and forth between the two spaces, and the water pulls me to the left. It is interesting how you set this up so that the eyes travel around and around inside the image. Excellent tonal range as well. There is tension created by the closeness of the head to the edge of the frame and to be honest, I can't decide if this adds or detracts. I guess it doesn't matter, because it is a small issue and this is going into my favorites. T.
