Uwe, i completely respect your onpinion on this image. i love to crop people in dramatic ways to get a response. sometimes it is poastive and sometimes negative. either way if an image has captured an individuals attention enough that they comment on that image, wether verbally or written, as here, it has acheived something: a response. That response, as an artist is what i, and all of us here i would suggest are waiting for. So by takin the time to comment, it is a compliment, to me, even though the context of your comment is negative. Now, why did i crop it this way? you have no choice but to look at her beautiful face and makeup, no choice, your drawn there. there are no other influences and your imagination is left to the rest of her... :) there is alot of attitude in her eyes, it isn't a graduation portrait by any means, but it is beautiful.
In fact you did much better pics. I do not like this one because of cutting her head and breast. Why? The glance of the eyes too is not perfect so I would not have published this one. Don?t take it personally its just my opinion...
