Marian,
I must recognize I do not have your talent for photos B&W. As I told you in the past, you have worked very well the lines in your photos (including, in this photo, the tree under the image) and, in my opinion, it is basic to have good B&W images.

that afternoon by mistake I had my image mode set to the lowest analysis and that probably "killed" my photo (took a couple :(... no that I do not need to work on technical matters as you suggest... thank you for your helpful comments... filika Marian

your images have an automony as to the stories they narrate, stories with a beginning and an end within one photo, this is very important! Marian I think it is vital to start working with technical matters more so that your images have more clarity and are not spoilt by blur invasions.
this is a lovely image and yet this blur and weak tones weaken its overall impact!

maybe he was doing an physics experiment :) not sure why the image looks a bit soft, maybe the bright sun effected the camera... nice scene and good work

Who needs books when you have the beauty of Greece surrounding you. Have been there many times and never get tired of it. A wonderful place with great people, food , and natural beauty everywhere - on the mainland and islands. Maybe the youngster has the right idea. All the best, Mark

Nice capture Marian,
The reflection of the sunlight in the sea is good but I feel the image little bit soft.
No matter what happens, we should respect the books coz they're the endresult of the experience of their authors. The book is man's best friend.
