About CATerpillar that is...

As u know, this is not my usual subject. I saw this little guy right outside my studio and just had to photograph him...

This a humble dedication to my friends Peta & Getulio. The real masters of Macro.

Cheers

No doubt "she" is . . . and no doubt she was drawn to your door by the prospect of finding her exotic image just where you have placed it; fame awaits even the lowly. By the way, a very nice macro . . . a fact that shouldn't get lost in the mix . . . beautiful focus on the exotic bits, great colors and depth of field . . .

Exoticism at my door?... I get that every day. Caterpillars? Seldom...

It's probably a female caterpillar...

Unusual for you, for sure, but still exotic as ever . . . such exoticism right at your door, what a surprise!

It's part of the texture of the ground. I don't remember what it is... The blur is from the lens. At F2.5 u get abstract and blurry backgrounds.

Great abstract. What's that bright arc in the lower left foreground ?

Dead? No! He is walking. It's a freaking caterpillar...hehehe

He has hundreds of legs. The things on top look like hairs or feathers or something like that.

Hey Patrick. No it isn't 5-00 am. It is now 4-27am...LOL!!

Had to get hubby off to work at 3-30am.

Plenty of coffee and I am awake...enjoying the peace and quiet.
