About Second in this series of photoart created from images of children in our family. I am thinking of using this series as greeting cards. I would love to know what you think. I have resubmitted this image after taking care of a distracting element.

Thanks Steve! I plan on continueing with my idea of doing a series of all the kids. Maybe not for the "Christmas Card" idea, but I would still like to play with them and see what I come up with. It was fun, I just hate that it was viewed as scary. Oh well, it's all subjective and not everyone sees the same thing at the same time!

Creepy! Reeeally creepy!

But I disagree with you on this one, I would like to see an entire series of all the kids. It is very distinctive. This may not be what you were going for but is a really cool look.

You might clean up a few stray hairs around the eyes, they are a little distracting.

Anthony, I'm not offended at all! In fact, I'm cracking up. I certainly don't want to give people the creeps with this image of my beautiful neice! I got the idea from another image of my son, which turned out really cool I thought. But it's light, almost white. Got really good responses on it . . . but not so good on these two. So if they are creepy, then I certainly will rethink the idea. I appreciate your honesty! It's good to have this forum . . . can you imagine if I had sent this out as a Christmas card to my mother in law? And it creeped her out!! Oh dear! And I certainly wouldn't want to produce anything even remotely demonic, not my style at all!! Thanks again for your honesty!

Thank you Mitchell, I'm glad you liked it. I thought it was cool, but apparantly not everyone else agrees. Which is okay. I appreciate you taking time to comment!

YIKES! Greeting cards? hmmm...

I haven't looked at the other images so keep that in mind when you read the following...

This image is scary! CREEPY scary. It reminds me of an old image taken of a dead person. I don't have a problem with it technically, so please don't be offended or take me wrong. But this image honestly gives me a chill. I see a much more demonic figure here than angelic...

The blackened mouth and the skin pallor combined with what I think are lifeless eyes....

Not sure what theme of greeting cards you were thinking of, but you may want to get some other opinions on this idea.

Take care,

Anthony
