Thanks for the comments too. I guess I don't worry too much about what looks like blown highlights too often. I have the detail in the original but I wanted this to be more high key and I just let the dress and pants run white I guess. To me it really depends on the look that you want in the final image. But good observation and again, thanks for your comments.

Great picture Mark, technically, it is blown out near the pillar, but that is just one of the things that make this a great picture. Very nice pose too, and the softness and the soft sepia effect really finish this picture.

Excellent shot. I love the high-contrast monochrome; it's very graphic. The whited-out areas add to the effect. The pose is great too. 7+!

WOW! WOW! This is incredibly beautiful Mark! I am in awe of that kind of romantic moment, a bit embarrassed by having a peek into such an intimate moment, and so enamored with the whole thing! This is just exquisitely beautiful . . . and it needs to win an award! It's gorgeous, I love everything about it, and your PS work was perfect . . . just brilliant, Mark! Just brilliant!! I'm in tears, at the sheer joy of this image!! Wow!

Beautiful . . . they merge in the center just right . . . while the column is exquisite, the brick background is unfortunate, but maybe something can be done about that in some future form . . . I love the sense of love the image conveys.
