That's surely true. But photography is not just a technical skill, it' pure art, it's a way to transmit emotions and feelings. In this way and in my opinion it's not important how you obtain images but what emotions images can transmit.
Sometimes people just crop, adjust levels or saturate colors. Other times people build images glueing different shots together and using very drastic tools and filters. Honestly i see no difference...it's art anyway.
I am still learning too.
