Thank you Kelly. Actually, the main thing I did was shooting it in a dark church, with only window light coming in. That really set the mood I think. It made the image fade out to black. The post processing I did was convert it to black and with with a warm sepia tone on it, I used the blur tool around the areas that were grainy and then on the edges of the pic, I used several different brushes to create the tattered edges. I really didn't do anything special with this, I think the main thing was the lighting used and the blur tool.

This is absolutely gorgeous. Very romantic, and definetly has the feeling of nostalgia I think most can relate to. I would have never known this was not a 'wedding' shot were it not for your description.
