I was visiting my sickly mom in Ohio and told her that was the only place I wanted to see before I came home. First time in 25 yrs. for me seeing fall colors and what gorgeous colors there were. This place is very picturesque any time of year. It's a shell of a house in a county park. Thanks for your kind comments. Marilyn

Welcome to Usefilm and great shot Marilyn. I love the colors and setting. Only one thing negative I can say about it and that is: Get out the lawnmower and leaf blower because that is a lot of yardwork for someone. =) Again great shot and keep them coming.

First of all Welcome Marilyn, I am sure you will enjoy Usefilm Den [my parnter] pointed this out to me and it is so lovely, I agree with him, it is like a picture in a fairy story. Den, Thank you for your comment on my photo. I just joined and I can tell I like this site very much already. Squire's castle as you can see is not really a castle but as close to a castle as I've seen in the US. There's even a ghost story behind it that no one actually knows the truth about it. One thing I miss about living in Florida no colors like that. Love your photos esp. the flying birds. The UK holds a special place in my heart ever since I read Wuthering Heights and have always wanted to visit. I had a very brief chance in 2001 as chaperone for my daughter's high school band. 3 whirlwind days in London and 4 whole hours in York on our way to Edinburgh. I'll never forget my time there and hope very much to get back there in the near future to see much more of the country. Happy photo taking!

This is wonderful Marilyn. The sort of pic seen in fairy tale books. The trees show up the miniaturism of it. Love the faint wisp of smoke on the right. Tree colours are fantastic.
