Luis, I will let you in on a little secret. I used to do modelling years ago. I enjoyed it, although I wasn't fully comfortable with it as I don't see myself in that light. I still don't like candid shots, but will give in to the odd shoot with someone that I trust. I would be willing to try a shoot with your direction just to see what can be achieved. I see that as a challenge, and I enjoy challenges.
Does that make sense...hmmm...I think I am confused now...LOL!!

I think its really good.. the 3 lights made in photoshop might not do that much for the picture but then again they dont destroy that much either i guess! =) I like your expression there.. =)

Me 2 have a different expression than the first one. I would have selected black and white to support warm dramatic mood more in the first one Judi but in this one it is just an awesome choice to have in colors. Cheers.

Roby, yes, the foot out of the frame has bugged a few. But I wasn't going to start changing the image by bringing in other image parts. So I left it as is. I am pleased you like this one though.

Thankyou my friend. I am pleased you like this one. I knew, however, that you would comment on the foot, but without doing a lot of alteration to the image, I wanted to leave it, as it was not my image to start with. The hand over the knee, however, probably does look unnatural but for me that is a normal position for me. So it felt natural at the time. I also feel it directs the viewers eye toward the facial area. If, however, it was placed differently it would give a different angle to the image. Crossed in front would look busy. Does that make sense??

Another wonderful one Judi, it is really nice, the lighting is much better than the first one, but .. there is 2 minor things, 1 about the incomplete foot, and the second one about the right hand's pose, it looks a little uncomfortable and un natural to me, what do you think?!

Doing a good portrait which is both interesting and pleasing is very difficult. The model's posture and expression need to be right. These two (shown so far) are absolutely perfect: the position of the legs and the right arm/hand, taken with the expression. Stunning, Judi!
