I'm doing a self-assigned photo essay on US (and other) flags in my community since Tuesday, September 11, 2001. If you're real good, you can figure out where I live. ;-)
What an interesting assignment you've given yourself. Looking forward to seeing what you find. Very well done. Have fun and be sure to post your series, OK?
this aint as bad as your making it out to be...as a matterof fact it is not bad at all...to make this a seller; a little more of the left and flags not at half mast would be a plus...the lighting is nice and crisp yet warm....no more hair shirts it's pretty good as it is...
OK, I know there's a lot wrong with this photo. I want to re-shoot it, but I'm not sure what to do about it. Would a polarizer help here? This lens vignettes and flares so much that I didn't want any more glass in front of it. I tried fixing the converging lines in Photoshop but now it just looks unnatural. This was at around 5:30 in the afternoon. Should I try later in the day? At sunrise? The flags are probably not flying at night, though. Maybe I'll try all of these and get one that works better.
