For me, black and white film with the latitude and dynamic range definately out performs my 10D and converting to black and white. For colour, I use the 10D in most instances.
Cost is the only down side to film which is why I am going to try and develop my own negatives. I worked out for £15 I can develop around 30 rolls of film which is 50p a roll and with film being so cheap (black and white film) its only costing around £2.20 per roll.

wow very cool. which do you prefer better digital, film, or both? I think I prefer digital. just because I can snap and snap and snap away so it cost less for me.

Thanks Trish. Im still trying to learn how to work with film after coming from digital is a little more difficult IMHO. I've just bought some fixer and developer, changing bag and container. Just waiting for the bath and thermometer and I'll be having a go at developing my own negs. Now that should be interesting LOL

Wonderful shot, this one. I love the DOF - so perfect for details and yet not enough to be distracting. Your little model is gorgeous as always.

Thanks as always Bea. Just trying to get to grips with the Eos 1n. Its been a difficult journey for me as I come from a digital background. I bought my first camera (fuji 4700) in 2000 and been upgrading up until last year when I bought the 10D. I then bought a 1000fn followed by an Elan II and finally the eos 1n :) I think Im probably quite unique coming from digital and then moving to film LOL.
Thanks again :) Howie

The ND filter really worked as did the natural and spontaneous look of your model. Great work.
