About
A USGS helocopter flies thru a steam plume at Mt. St Helens October 10th Yes... I went back for more, It snowed the night before, and as announced today, the magna (lave) has broken through slowly (unlike Hawaii the lava here is colder so it is slow and they can only see it glow at night). If there is any obstructions with the bulk of the magna, it could result in a large explosion (approx. 75,000 feet)
Beautiful mountain scene perfectly caught. The helicopter really adds to the image. 7 Regards, Graham PS thanks for your kind remarks on my image Highclear Castle.
Super capture this one Glen! Like the cloud in foreground and the exceptional lighting that puts front side of mountain in sun and other side of peak in shadow...and of course the 'copter in the middle of the action. Great job.
