I like the comosition just as it is. If there were more of his body in the pic, I feel it would have distracted from his face which is clearly the dominant subject of the photo.
I should be so luck to get grab shots this good!

Absolutely Precious! My prayers are with little JT- and his family. A lovely portrait for them to always see him as happy and smiling.

Matthew, I'm glad you liked the offset, me too. I do wish I had included his legs! But I was trying to catch him before he started swinging, it really was a grab shot! Thanks again for the comment!

I like the offset composition, but must agree with Autumn about the feeling of being cut-off at the knees.
Give J T a big hug from my family to his...

Like the composition Dale Ann and I remember you telling me about him awhile back - he has a happy face doesn't he. I like the dappled light in this too.

Thank you Corrie! He is precious! He is going to 6 in February. He started kindergartent his year in a regular class room, even though he is totally blind in his right eye, and has no peripheral vision in his left eye. His glasses serve more as a protective measure than for correcting vision. What tunnel vision he does have he uses to the best of his ability! You can find another shot of him bowling in my portfolio. I will be posting some more of him over the next week or so. He was diagnosed right after his first birthday, so he has lived his whole life with it. But you'd never know it to be around him. He is a miracle!

Thanks Autumn, I don't know why I shot it like that. I guess I was just trying to catch him before he started swinging! He's very active!

pretty portrait, i like the off-center composition. i would have liked to see the bottom of the swing, and maybe the child's knees. the figure feels a little cut off to me.
