Kelsey gets kidded by her friends as being "a very white girl". I'm not sure why her hands look so much lighter except that is the way they are. Given that, they are distracting and take away from the photo. She also has on two different color nail-polishes which she likes.
But this was a fun shoot and I learned a lot. Thanks

Beautiful young lady. She does have very pretty eyes and lips. The hands are a bit off in skin tone as compared to the face but still a very lovely facial portrait.

That's a great question Bill! I, too, don't know much about posing, and often I hear that with pros the model normally is good because she knows how to squeeze out awsome poses for the photographer. I know makeup is a big thing, too.. but what sucks for me is that having a makeup person is just simply beyond the scope of my capabilities now.
I would love to see an article written for usefilm on posing and related topics to help us portrait newbies! Any takers?

Thanks, it becomes obvious when you mention it. Like most I was mesmerized by her eyes and lips.
I haven't tried to pose a model before. Besides looking at other photos and creating a swipe file, any suggestions on where to find information on posing.
We got lost when we went beyond the close-up head shots.

Agree with Detlef on the hands especially since the color of the hands is different to the face but otherwise... GFJ....Great ******* Job...
