About This evening shot was not taken with any filter. The starburst effect of the sun was a surprise. Maybe due to very small aperture of f/32? Exposure time was 1/8 sec.

Thanks for your comment Judi. You think maybe it's too dark? It does look darker here on UF than the origianl print. If time allows, I'll play with this one a bit more and re-post it. I'm anxious to get a film scanner so I can work directly from negatives and transparencies. I would expect much better higher resolution than what I can achieve scanning prints from the lab with my antique flatbed scanner. Oh, BTW, my son Brian has posted his first image on UF entitled "Outside Myself". Have a great day! Kurt

Kurt the sun star is excellent. Great achievement. The rest of the image, while beautiful, could do with a slight levels enhancement to make it pop out that much more.
