About Here in the distance you can see a Island. Often during the winter months HUGE sea lions hang out and mate,eat,fight and squabble, making a very loud existence for most of the time that they are here. The males can reach the weight of 1 ton plus and made my 30' sail boat feel small when they approached it. Come summer they swim down to California and we then miss all the action that they bring to the Island.
