Fabulous capture Roberto, you always capture the lighting so well, this is always one skill that stands out in all your photographs :-)

Beautiful sky and lovely colours in the buildings also.

Best wishes,
Steve

Questa me l'ero persa.

Wonderful light, Roberto!
The threatening sky adds a lot of atmosphere to this fine architectural shot.
Kind regards, Chris

Larry,u can't shot with other lens in this place(of course if u want catch whole tower and palace)so to shot as u suggests u have to came off the place but in this way u can shot only a part of it.
I have many shots(also with longer focal) of my wonderful "Piazza del campo" and u will see next time.

Dramatic. I love the lighting, the clouds, the mood. It seems to have been taken during one of my favorite times of day, during one of my favorites kinds of weather. I'm no expert on landscape and/or architecture photography, however, but the only thing I can see that I would have done differently, had I taken this shot, would have been to use a longer focal length lens without the almost spherical distortions, framed the image in such a way that the tower was the only thing visible against the sky, and shot it from several angles with this framing in mind. The rest of the buildings and such in the foreground just seem a bit distracting. But, that's just my opinion, and purely subjective. :) Nice shot. Thanks for sharing it with us.
