Hi Verena, at the moment I have the big one (30 elements) in the living room, I am planning to make two smaller ones for the dining room :)

Hi Hermen,
which version did you build? I started very small, it is on the poster the first one, with only 9 elements.
Love the big variance what you get from the IQlight.
Cheers, VErena

Hi Ian,
also interested to see the results, I did also photos at a concert recently, it was a company event and I knew almost one of the performer personally (3 Bands).
Unfortunately I used only the 35-135mm 1:4-5,6 what I did then (without flash, again) pushed the 10D to ISO 3200.
I promissed them to come back again for their next performance with a better lens.
Awaiting on your results with th 1,4.
Cheers, Verena

I thought "I love my new flexible lightning system" was a typo. Obviously needs more thought. Don't tell me, give me time.... But... So... it isn't a multiple expposure then? A beautiful find. Just had a super takumar 1:1.4 out tonight actually. Only for it's speed at a concert. Keen to see the results.

Hi Ian,
;) ok I got it, and I didn't used any flash system, never worked with flash at all, perhaps I will start once, lets see.
And the new lens was not so expensive, with ebay (40 Euro), manual focus, quite unknown supplier, but I was keen on the 1:1,4.
Cheers, Verena

(About the 1.4 woooooo!) About the exposure, I didn't mean aperture but axposures (need itallics) plural. I am totally flummoxed by this thing and am seeing this as an event in time, guessing an unravelled scroll of paper rotated around an axis (shown where thespiral with four arms is) four times. Complexly beautiful and I don't see how it is a tribute to your flash but never mind I can look IQlight up. I know Nikon have worked out a superb slave system and assume canon have too.

four exposures?
This was 2.8, or what do you mean?
Start to playing with a new 'old' lens, 55mm 1:1,4
Cheers, Verena

Hi Verena,
sehr beeindruckende Lichtserie. Details und Ausleuchtung links gefallen mir sehr gut... allerdings finde ich dieses Bild durch die "strenge" mittige Teilung etwas statisch ;-) LG, Thilo

This is also my favourite of the three! I see an animal's face in it...
By the way, I also own an IQlight, and thinking of ordering a second one for the dining table :)

This is my favorite of those three because this has a perfect balance and the dark part is a nice contrast also. Really good work.
