Chris; this is a superb composition with wonderful lighting. You're right, with just a casual glance the odd angles are not noticeable, but with some study it does become pretty enigmatic-- but I like it, and glad you explained some of the PS work.

The 'noise' in the sky is due to the combination of filters I've used on this image. For some reason they showed up morer on the sky than on the houses, but it all looks fine on the full-sized version.

Just to say that the sky is not 'pixellated', it's the effect of the 'rough pastel' filter that I applied to the whole image before texturizing it with a sandstone texture! It shows up much better on the hi-res version!

Hi Chris, The sky looks a bit pixellated..., but I do like the `Sprackling" of this image. Would?ve removed the railing on the left side, too, though. It?ll simplify the composition a bit. Excellent tones, though.

Silly houses...especialy the one which is almost cracking... :-)Wonderfull image..great shot.. :-) I notice the sky..though...something you have made??? It seems abit 'noisy' compared to the clarity of the houses... Hm.. :-/
