Thanks, Hugo. Yes the link worked and the patent information is interesting to me.
As it happens, I was visiting your Lightworks 2000 website when I was notified of your comment. Very impressive project. I especially like the macro shots, although with time constraints (only 24 hrs in a day) it will take me a while to get through the entire site. : )
I think the reason this photo appears soft is that I don't yet have a film scanner. I have to have prints made and I scan these on my flatbed scanner (old). I've noticed the same problem with other photos I've scanned. I hope to purchase a film scanner in the near future and hopefully this will improve the sharpness of my uploaded images. Thanks for your comments! Kurt

Hi Kurt, thanks for your comment. You asked for the patent? Well here is the link (wonder if it'll post, otherwise, just send me an email, see also my portfolio)

Great shot, by the way. Well composed, and very nice tones. It looks a tad soft, though.

Love your small flock of birds bobbing in the smooth patch of water, they really help draw my eye. Thanks for the pleasant comment regarding my blue sky, but tommorows photo, now thats a BLUE sky.
