WOW............ You are so knowledgeable, Khaled!
Thanks for this fabulous explanation, my Friend!!!
i have asked You this because when i visited Egypt for 15 days i had the opportunity to buy those fresh fruits in street markets and they weighted for me and i carried in small brown paper bags... that felt soo nutricious!
we import those fruits to Brazil, but unfortunatly they arrive too dry and not juicy as i loved to eat when i was touring around in Your beautiful Country! Unfortunately my Parents can only have the dry ones and hear me saying how these fruits really tastes like... as i brag about they are much better fresh as offered in the markets! *wink*
Shokran! ...it was a great pleasure hearing from YOU and i copied this edible fruit Information to my DeskTop!
i do enjoy visiting Your Portfolio very much, Khaled... YOU are a very gifted Photographer!!!
my Best + Maa' Salamah, Regina

Hi Regina, Thanx for your nice comments, here are some information about dates: The date palm begins to bear fruit at age of 3-5 years and continue to provide for at least 12 years. In one growing season, it takes 200 days from pollination to full fruit maturation. Fruit maturation undergoes four basic stages identified in the date industry by their Arabic names. The first stage is the appearance of a small green fruit, non-edible, called the "kimri" stage, which is approximately one month from pollination. It is followed by the "Khalal" stage, which is when the fruit is botanically mature and turns into a yellow or red color. The Khalal fruit is edible, and very popular in the Arabian countries. lf the fruit is left on the tree it will mature to the "rutab" stage, which is half brown and half yellow or red. Rutab is lower moisture content, increased sucrose content. The final stage of fruit maturation is the "tamr" stage when the fruit is left on the tree if climatic conditions are favorable. This stage is the brown color. I'm glad you follow my photos, and I'm happy that you know some arabic words. My best regards, Khaled.

Hi Amna, I like the way you increased it's sharpness, it's just it didn't pass my mind to do that. I know that it's a little bit out of focus that was because the time was near sunset, and the fastest shutter spead that I could use with apperature of 5.6 was 1/60 sec and the young lady was moving and posing infront of the camera in a nice way. P.S. don't be angry of my honesty about your "nightmare" it is just I didn't understand it, yes it reflects it's title very much but I didn't like it! just being honest. Thanx Amna for your comment, looking forward to share more photos and receiving more comments on them from you, Kind regards.
