About he grabs his feet when excited....
Im using a scanner with my negatives...and im pretty new to the world of anything digital. What resolution do i need to save them to if i want a bigger...clearer picture? It looks a lot clearer with more pixels but then its unfortunately too large for the site...any suggestions?

Sorry missed the question there Corrie. Scan it in at the highest resolution and resize later. I'm not sure if you have photoshop but if you do, convert to lab mode and just sharpen the light channel using USM as in all cases the images are always softer when first scanned in. Hope this helps

His expression is priceless :) Could be a little sharper but he is expressing pure joy. Love it.

So very sweet! I use only digital, so can't help with your scanning problems unfortunetly. I can see this would be a lovely photograph in person.
