Wonderful languid colours which I recall vividly from a visit to the Mediterranean coast near Tel Aviv (enjoying a spontaneous barbeque with a black Israeli poet who lived in the summer in a caravan on the beach). The figure is perfectly silhouetted against the sun trace and time seems to be frozen waiting for the wave to break.
I was interested in the title: she is alone, but lonely? ... I wonder if this is objective or subjective.

Ok, Rafi, I have to offer an opinion as well. Beautiful shot with wonderful color and tones. I believe it to be a man walking, however. To me, the slope of the shoulders gives it away. Heavily sloped shoulders are common among athletes. That would also explain the breast.
(for the record, my wife says woman)

Dear Maja,
there's no need to be jealous. I found the water in Croatia too cold to swim in even in summer and in winter it is cold here too. On the other hand I can say that I am jealous about the rain that we have to wait for, never knowing if the coming year will have enough of it. By the way, the attachment underneath, taken at Sveti Stefan, is for you as well.

Excellent picture Rafi... The golden tones are beautiful... The silhoutte of the lone woman walking, adds romantism and solitude to the picture atmosphere... Love how the light of the sun reflected in the waters goes right to her, as if telling her that she is not alone...

This is a fantastic image. The way the woman is almost fully silhouetted agains the glaring late sun.
The only think I am curious about is near the centre top of the sky, there are two sweep marks. I am unsure as to the cause of these, but they distract the eye from the beauty of the image.
Overall, with those blemishes aside, this is one of the best late beach scenes I have seen.
