Christine: Thanks so much for taking the time to explain how my camera works. I think it will be much easier for me now!! I keep telling everyone I'm just a point and shoot amature. No one ever told me you had to be able to read the manual to use the camera, they just said to get a good one ;)
Thanks to all who stopped off to encourage me. Your time and effort is so very much appreciated. Blessings to all. Joann

Superb detail Joann so many intermingling textures from the smoothest to a rough crystalline quality. On the back of the camera there is the FUNC. button, click it to set to different modes, sepia, B/W, natural, vivid, etc. The dial above set on various settings then allows you to change the aperture and shutter speed with the little wheel in front of the shutter button, as you see fit. The Zoom Browser software that comes with the camera shows you all the info. Open zoom browser and right click a photo, click properties. If you make any changes to a photo make sure to save it to a new folder and always keep the original in the original folder or you will lose the property details. You really have to read the manual. It is tedious and I am still not through it but getting there. I am not impressed with the macro mode but the supermacro kicks butt.
