Thanks everyone for the comments, after looking at your individual portfolio's can see I still have a lot to learn,just received some gradual neutral density filters on friday and will start experimenting with them next week.

Ian it is NEVER too late to learn!!I did not take up photography untill I was 63!and last year at 69 years of age I bought my first computer and digital camera.A huge learning curve I can tell you. Usefilm is a great site to share your work, learn,make new friends and in general just enjoy. Regards Micky.
