This is gorgeous! It is very nicely color cordinated... very soothing to the eye. And of course me being a horse woman... love the subjects!

beautiful image. Very pleasing composition and scene. Horses are rather tricky to capture in the right way.

The foreground hazyness is due to PS work of brightening it bit too much.

regards,
ken.

Capturing all the horses looking in my direction was the result of a combination of stealth, making strange,horse-like noises(!)shooting repeatedly, maintaining a low angle among the grasses being very aware of compositional importance of the lead horse and luck. All in all great fun -the colour in the sky was only there for a very short time so it was a relief when I looked at the back of my Ist to see all had fallen into place.

Beautiful light, stunning sky and I can't imagine how you managed to capture all of the ponies so well with very little overlap and with them seeming to appear out of the grass. Excellent.

Only comment I'd make is that the foreground seems a little dull and consequently out of balance with the vibrant sky. I wonder if shooting a half-hour earlier would have made the difference? I'm far from being knowledegable so this observation is really more of a question.

Maybe that's just my screen or a hangover from the JPEG compression, don't know. It remains a beautiful photograph though; to my eyes it's perfectly composed and enchanting to look at.
