Iowa is a strange place. Normal people drink soda, there people drink pop. They put people in wood chippers and say "Aigs" instead of "eggs". The phrase "dont'cha know" replaces the southern "know what i'm sayin".
What's even stranger is the fact that it was 80 degrees outside and there is a prominent snowbank here in this picture. See that hill in the background? That's a mountain in Iowa. See the powerline? That's a skyscraper.
This picture is my interpretation of my tenure in Iowa, the nightlife, the weather, and the solitude.
Exit here off I-35 for a peaceful Yoga retreat. In all honesty, the people are wonderful, our great nation's flag still hangs high over every doorstep, and it truly is a nice place ....
