About This image was taken above my house during the day. That bit is true. Then I found photo manipulation, but only on the moon. Not the sky. hehehehe

Larry. I did have each moon on a separate layer to make it easier to move into place. I haven't as yet got any extra lenses for this camera so they were definitely taken with the standard lens.

Thinking back I also change the setting to nightshooting. I think that in itself aided towards darkening the sky but not the moon.

Hope that helps.

Judi

Been thinking a bit more, changing WB got sky black, why didn't it affect the WB of the moon itself? Or did it? Slow shutter at f 2.0 would over expose the moon, wouldn't it? At nite anyway. Does changing WB so much also affect the exposure? This and the last moon shot, were they taken with anything other than normal F828 lens Judi? Like a tele add on lens?

Ok, understand the WB thing, wasn't aware you could do that, but "you did", smart lady. The 3 moons then, did you do something like we did for the color/bw thing for me, then layer them the same way kinda? I'm guessing you could do multi layers, true? Larry

What I actually did Ameed was cut each moon out of two images and arranged them onto one of the other images, giving me one image with 3 moons. I then arranged them as I wanted and VOILA!!! Lunacy has emerged. LOL!! Judi

Larry. I had a slow shutter and an F2.2. I then adjusted the WB and used a tripod. Here is the original image. I actually took 3 images to try and get slightly different rotations for the final piece, but they all came up similiar with the very dark background. I found that to be quite interesting considering it was definitely still daylight.

Zeev. I have been experimenting with different settings and was determined to improve on my previous moon image. I think I succeeded, but definitely needs more work still. Judi

Nah, will not even try to guess how you shoot daylight sky, then show it as dark, without PSP or something!! This and the last moon shot, were they taken with anything other than normal F828 lens Judi?
