Del, this thumbnail jumped out and grabbed me. I like it loads. Both versions are great. Good exposure to stop the highlights burning out too much. Compliments Den

I too, like the one in the comment. SInce you don't have aditing software, and not sure if you can shoot in black and white, just try getting really close and shooting towards the sky when the sky is getting darker. see if you can pick up the details of the tips of the grass. This would be an interesting experiment for you.

I like this and the cropped version a well. Nice soft textures and colours. I think Gabrielle is right in her guess that this is Pampas Grass.

http://www.usefilm.com/image/503923.html I think I mean like this one. You get the best of both worlds- a close of a plant and a backdrop which is interesting

Great shot, Del. I like the one in your comment better. I think it would be a knock-out in black & white. Jimmy

Sort of... I have seen images with the vegetation sharp in the foreground with another more distant object in the field of vision. This is difficult to explain (possibly because I dont know what I am talking about)!

I added a closer view, I could not make this work so added it as my own comment
