Once again you have posted a wonderfully detailed photograph of a bird. I admire the variety of images you post. Each style (ribbons, marbles, flowers, wildlife) is expertly executed. You have a good eye for composition, and your postings suggest that you have an incredible patience to set up or wait for the right shot. You obviously have good control of the camera because the lighting, sharpness, and DOF are spot on.
Can you explain how you are able to capture such terrific images of the birds you photograph? Did you already explain it and I missed it? I know just how skittish and shy cardinals can be, so I'm particularly impressed with those images. I can see that you have a bird feeder. What I want to know is how far away you set up the camera, are you in some sort of 'blind', are you inside shooting through a window, etc. etc.
There is so much you have to teach us. I feel like you may have answered this question before, but I can't find the response.
Thanks, Barry. You give me something to work toward!
