Excellent work Toni - I think Henri would have been proud. These three ladies seem to be good friends, comfortable with each other. That is THEIR corner, where they sit and contemplate life, share their stories. Well seen and captured, and presented in excellent B&W Well done. Linn

Just really fine PJ work. I like the scale of it too show some context.
If you have those Leica bodies and lenses, my first impulse would be to buy another scanner. I have a Nikon Coolscan V ED which I like very much. I have about 30,000 slides and a few negatives, too, and so the scanner lets me go back and review the past. I no longer have a Leica, but did recently aquire a Voigtlander T Heliar 101 for those times when I want to try to be a Cartier Bresson.
I only held a Digilux for awhile and wasn't too impressed. It is styled like a rangefinder but it is not. It has the typical digicam viewfinder which is very un-Leica. It is probably fine, but the Panasonic is identical for less money. And, of course, for far less you can have a Nikon Coolpix 8700 or the Canon equivilant.
Well, that's my two cents worth, as they say.
Regards ?

Ciao carissima, un abbraccio Max

From time to time "Usefilm" is in trouble and it has happened to me also that photos, even my pwn, would not open. Fortunaetly yours did and I think that your "Listen...." is a beautiful example of late middle life ladies spending their time in gossip. There are those who say that psychoanalysis, my profession, is also a kind og gossip, but I don't agree with them. If you read even the first case on www.drspringmann.com the one you can read gratis, you will see that it is much more. Thank you all the more for commenting on my three photos, having seen them only as thumbnails. Regards, Rafi

Yes, this has the "Henri" look. The B&W tones and textures are very good indeed. The exposure must have been about perfect... Well done, a lovely character study of three rather different ladies.

Hi Antonella,
Oh, this is a great 'Henri' photograph! They have such serious expressions, must be something 'very heavy' they are contemplating! Well done, good composition as well. Lori :)

Giustamente inserita in people. Ma non badare a me I'm an absolute beginners. Un bacio Francesca C. Concas

They seem comfortable together like they have been meeting like this for years and years. Sometimes they chat and other times they merely sit in quiet contemplation. Excellent capture and well presented in B/W. Nice work Antonella.

this angled view would be much more interesting if, as I suppose, the interesting gate and the curved road should be included in the left of the shot; that's the way I would shoot at them even doing so the people-nature of the shot will result diminished of course

Ciao
