This elegant study, with its admirably-defined textures and volumes, reminds me, like so much of Mister Caldwell's work, of 1930's "Life Magazine" industrial photography.
To me, it's a revelation of what I've always thought was all smooth, graceful lines and unbroken surfaces. This is a thing from the born from the skies. It looks that way.
