About This is the B&W version - tutorial as per my PS mentor Neil Dollman :-) I love the punch this method gives to B&W's, don't you?

Hi Linn, many, many thanks for the dedication. Your are too kind! I'm pleased for you that you got it sorted out with the tips and tricks. You have achieved a nice result here and i always find B&W photos of flowers interesting, because we don't usualyy see them like that. This looks like a painting!
Well done and best wishes - Neil

Micky, just when the weather warms up, we get a cold spell. Now is the time for plenty flu and tummy bugs :-( Some fruit trees are in full blossom and I can see the beginning of new growth on some shrubs and bushes. Daisies are still plentiful (I am sooooooooo tired of seeing yellow and orange! ) but the nurseries are still void of colour.

Please drop me an email to raglin@ragdoll.co.za so that I can share the tuts and URL's with you.

Have a great day.
Linn

Yes I agree it has amazing punch and detail.I missed Neils tutorial can you pass it on?I would love to be able to produce good monotones.
I see you are having fun with the spring flowers too,are you going into spring as well?
I have not seen any ranuncs yet but was given a bunch of anemones recently.
Cheers Micky.

Thank you Lori :-)
No, the backdrop is the one I have used on my kitten images. It doesn't look that great in colour though - not with flowers any how :-)

Stunning warm tones and superb textures. This belongs on my wall with a black matte and brushed nickel frame.

Well, I think I like the sepia best. The dark flower looks best in the sepia grouping, don't know why...but that's what my eye says! LOL :)

Actually Linn, they all are nice, and love the background. Your handiwork? :)

Lori :)

Still a nice arrangement but the B&W is a little dull for personal taste.
Best regards, Chris

Like it better than sepia but color is still the best to me. given only B&W it would work.
