Hi John, I have seen much better ones by you, but fair is fair, it's not bad at all...)
It's a well composed shot. I like the converging angles you've used here. Not only the ones in the the umbrella, but also the virtual line between the purple split screen, the balcony above and the tilt in the face of the building. I also like the combination of colours.
What I think makes this shot less strong is the rather cluttered element and the triangle in the top left corner. Eventhough the view is very original and well captured, It's a little less surprising. Further more, the differens lies in the little details, such as the red petal sticking out above the purple split screen and the cluttered details under the roof.
