ken, i just drove up the PCH in southern california and this is uncannily similar scenery. very cool. i dig the curves and especially the sheep in the foreground. minor nitpicks: more dof would definitely improve the clarity in the distance and 1-2 degree clockwise tilt would definitely "center" this photo.
take care, tom

What a lovely, peaceful scene..you have captured perfectly. Excellent color and composition, I agree with Alison, there is a definite natural flow throughout the entire image...Great work!!

Hi Ken, I don't think I'll ever get enough of the Irish Landcape... The wideness is breath taking, and looking at your photos, so is the lighting..... The gradient to blue, hazy tones add a very good sence of distance, but in this (specific) shot, I think I would've panned the camera a bit more to the right. One sheep will have the same effect on the atmosphere as the two, but cutting off the achipel nearby closes the composition a bit too much, IMO. I'd like to follow the shoreline all the way into the distance, and that line is broken by the right edge.
Another option would be to take a few steps closer to the sheep, and zoom out a bit (if possible) The high location of the horizon is nice, but a bit more sky wouldn't hurt either, I think.
The third option is a bit more rigorous; cropping all of the "background scenery" out would also work. In that case, the close composition of the peninsula nearby would work better... See attached.
Cheers,
Hugo

Good composition. Very relaxing views, indeed. The sheep don't seem to be real... I hope I can visit again Scotland, as well as Ireland.
Cheers
