Great photographic subject. One thing that can help improve the impact of an image like this is to use the background to your advantage. Position yourself so that colors/objects behind your subject are dark. The contrasting background to your light subject will really help it stand out. Also use a shallow depth of field to keep the viewers eye glued to your subject. If any part of your background is in focus and has competing textures, lines, colors, etc. you often will lose impact. Compositionally you may also want to position your subject off center to challenge your viewer and draw their eye through a landscape or scene telling of the environment of your subject. A combination of these tips can lead to a strong image with greater impact. A good example of this would be my second to last submission "Simple Things".
