Neil,thanks for critique and you are probably right as i had difficulty getting the exact contrast i wanted,so just left it a tad darker than original..when i changed to B&W, it seemed brighter than i wanted..always appreciate honest comments,my friend.

Leading Neal down the garden path huh Gayle. Scandalous woman :-) This is a beautiful ethereal capture. The path has such a wonderful soft glow it seems it is almost floating. The curve is seductive and I like the open ended framing.

Hi Gayle, well isn't Neal a lucky man :)
I like what you have here although i would prefer a little more contrast though, especially with the black 'movie' borders it just shows a little of the image is actually black and is naturally accentuated more in a B&W pic. Gosh aren't i nitpicking? Sorry - forget i said anything :)

Mmm I love the myserious feeling in this photo, that anxious feeling to see what's around the corner, or to see who is going to show up......
a nice slow zoom in would be cool in a movie, and we see a reveal of the subject in question.......

And Neal Nye just loves it. The perfect path. I just know there's something extraordinarily interesting just around that corner. I'm a little concerned about the big tree, which looks like some sort of guard or sentry. But that just adds to the drama and excitement. Nice soft tones, nice proportion, nice cropping, nice everything. Thank you, thank you.
