Wonderful composition, fantastic tones, fantastic mood.
Terrific landscape, perfectly captured.
Mickey, the cause of the different size of the lines in the frame id very likely due to the fact that you cropped only one side of the photo, either a stroke on the right or one on the left (or just top or bottom). It happened to me many times in the past. In this case you probably cropped only the left side before adding the frame. Why it happens, I'm nor sure
Kind regards - Emgy

Thats OK Angelo,Just a little foot note,I happen to be an old white headed female.Quite a few have been confused of my gender becuase of my unusual name.Does not matter at all just seems a bit amusing at times.I like to be considered an equal both in gender and age.Perhaps I should fill in my Bio:)
Its OK you can still call me mate.
Regards Micky.

Hi Ian,

Sorry if I did not explain well the first time around.

If you resize the canvas to add the border, then resize the resulting image back down, it is likely this problem will occur.

This is not what Micky has done. He has done it in the right order: resize the image, then add to the canvas to create a border.

This is why it is so strange that he gets this effect.

In any case, I must apologise to Micky for turning the comentary on his lovely photo into a long-drawn discussion about resizing. I should know better than to nit-pick.

Sorry, mate!

Resizing is not the same as adding pixels?
Would be intersted in how it is obvious Angelo if you have a moment.
Actually I read the resizing as shrinking from your comment but it doesn't make sense to me at all.
Nice Shot anyway micky regards from P.C.

Yes Angelo, you presume correctly that is the way I do it and yes it is stange becuase it is not consistant.Cheers Micky.

Very odd indeed, Micky. I assume you add the pixels to the canvas after resizing and as the last thing before saving to jpeg, right?

Sorry, I know it's obvious...

Angelo, thankyou for your kind comment and observation,I do not know why the size of the lines are different,it happens now and then and I have never been able to work it out.I increase the size of the canvas by the same number of pixels each way so it should be even.
Micky.

Beautiful scene, Micky. Works really well in these hues. Very serene, brings back memories of NZ.

On a very very minor point, looks like your canvas resize for the borders had odd increments on the width. The dark lines on the right are thicker than the ones on the left. As I said, a very minor point, real nit-picking and takes nothing away from the main subject, which is superbly portrayed.

Yes Lukasz I agree I would have prefered the figures to be off center as well, they were walking fast so I had to grab before they got out of the pic.Cheers Micky.
