About Exposure was about 1" at f/11 on Kodak Supra 100 film; camera and 24mm lens on monopod. Scanned same exposure twice at different scanner settings, once for foreground and once for sky; blended exposures in Photoshop using a layer mask. Various minor tweaks in PS including levels, channel mixer to convert to B&W, slight brightness/contrast adjustment.

Great mood you've created here.
Point of interest - the distant horizon of course.

the wide angle and tilted horizon affect the mood of this photo. the mood is very nice, but since it is so wide a view, the lack of a definitive subject hinders the viewer from realizing that mood...instead they focus on what is not there. a different angle, maybe one looking down onto the wheat, or one with the wheat against the sky, would enhance the image. that's where experimentation becomes so fun :)

good choice of BW
