hi pat- i would tend to want to modify this in layers (ps). This is a very subtle change but makes a bit of difference... i lassod off her face only and took the surrounding area and ADDED a motion blur to it. Hence, making the face appear sharper than the rest... take a look....

I am not good at these types of decisions...and that is why I love UF and use UF as I am editing my jobs....
My gut says that the motion does not work all that well in this shot...but I wonder if it is because I have seen the previous two....I wish I could be of more help! :)

The blur makes you look for a place that's in focus, drawing you to her eyes. They don't seem as blurry as the rest of her face. I think if she was obviously involved in some kind of movement/sport it wouldn't be distracting. But you don't anticipate blur with a close-up shot of the head and shoulders. Nice tones!

The blur does bother me a bit...it's a little distracting. I like it in some photos, but not so much in this one.
