i certainly prefer this one .. but a shallower dof to blur the background is necessary.

it's a good idea to shoot the same subject in different light conditions.

i like the view angle and the sharpness.. but why did you shoot it at night using flash?!! i think you like the dark background .. don't you, Peter?

i would have loved to see this flower lit by overcast day light. the reason i don't like FLASH is that it usually results in unpleasant shadows.
