About A brief visit to the lovely falls in the Cascade mountains yielded this nice shot of the first clinging to the cliffside. I used a polarizer to obtain a slower shutter speed, giving a bit of motion to the water.

I think the horizontal branches and the vertical falling water set up a tension that just emphasises the power of the falls. The colors too. Warm vs. cool. It all works. Nicely done.
