I, too, shoot mainly slides and seem to have the same loves of water and landscapes as yourself.
This is such a nice serene image... the calm water, the boat waiting patiently.
I wonder if the top left is perhaps a bit too dark? (It's hard for me to tell, though, as I'm lookign at an LCD screen and depending on the angle I look at it, the darkness varies.)
Still, a very well seen shot.. the ND grad really helped pull the focus to the dock and boat.

I'm so glad to have you as a "friend." I don't want to miss any of these beautiful shots. I note you make a lot of use of grad ND filters. I find this fascinating and instructive. It's more difficult with rangefinder cameras like mine, though.

Excellent composition.
I'm only a bit concerned about the "ALCAN"
writing which is a little distracting.
Also, I think that the horizon could be easily straightened.
Anyway it is an outstanding shot indeed, congrats.
