Nice subject. Exposure and presentation are really nice.
Not sure what was there to the left of the frame, but if nothing distracting, I probably would have chosen to compose with the car more to the right, "coming in" to the frame, as it were.

I checked out the other version of this (the one with the tighter crop), and I like this one best because of the weeds and the other junk in the background. This stuff sets the scene. I also prefer this shot for the placement of the car in the frame. Great shot.

What a great find, Rebecca. If this was my car you would have missed this shot.:-) I would have that beauty inside a garage or under wraps. Excellent b&w.

I ride adown the forest aisles From morn till evening shade, Beneath the stars of heaven my head, At fall of night, is laid. No comrade wendeth at my side, No voice bids me God-speed, Alone by hill and vale I ride, Alone by wood and mead.
I don't know if that is the same Percival...but it fits!!! Wonderful, clever title and great shot. Your well read friend, JIL

The lack of color contributes to the antique feeling. Makes if vaguely threatening. Nicely exposed. I like the darkened edges too.

okay, this is getting eerie between us with the esp...earlier today i worked on a very similar shot except mine isn't the whole car..i tried a solarized effect and then toned it blue, then green, then sepia, but couldn't get this tone which is perfect! so i put it away for now...this is excellent in comp/tone/lighting..i think that it goes out to cemeteries after midnight..LOL..gayle

Great shot, I like this even better than the tractor. Not sure I like the tone though.

Another great B&W! Cars always seem to have a face when I look at them. This guy looks sad that he is being neglected.

Reminds me of 'The Car', you know the one with no driver, that just cruises the streets of quiet back woods towns looking for hapless folk to run over. (I think the fever is making my imagination overactive) The silver/blue hue is fantastic Rebecca, really gives this a secretive eerie quality. Excellent work.
