Thanks Bill. These ARE boats - cool old 100+ year old wooden boats sitting in the boat yard on stilts. It was fun checking out the racing and the big, beautiful NEW boats too. Anne : )

Great series Anne ....... I'm envious of your being there .. How I love Newport. A boating "mecca" .. for photographers. Have been there twice ... didn't want to leave. This photo #1.. is beautiful .. as is all the other 9. But . I want more .. show me some boats. lololo.

All of this series is stunning! Reminds me in some ways of a painting, from the abstract expressionist school.

Yeah, Anne, great find! The texture alone could stand on its own in a B&W photo, but the colors really set it out!
