About Miniature Gerbera - and really just for fun :-)

Have been practicing what I have learned so far from the PS tutorials.

Yes, I know the pink borders are not equal, and I know the images are slightly out of line ... so just have fun looking at it, OK? :-))

Morning Bill, my original idea was only to use three images - but quickly realised that the angles I shot, would not do it, thus the four. Yes, one can rotate images too :-)

Go for the Adobe Elements 2.0 - it is the baby brother of the heavy-gun PS and whatever you learn in PSE2.0, you can apply in PS. And then, I highly recommend that you take the online tutorials! Fabulous stuff, and fun fun fun. Each level runs six weeks and assignments are handed in every Saturday night. Cost $20 per level, but make sure you start the "From the Groun Up" level, even if you have experience with PS and Elements. Lots of people don't take that level and then find themselves stuck, and end up going back to the Ground Up level.

If you want more info, email me at raglin@ragdoll.co.za

Have a great weekend Bill - and go find that flower that will make me groan with delight :-)

Yup! 4 in one go - cheating, huh? :-)))

Maybe if I didn't pick such a pink tone? but yeah, the pink edges could be thinner.

But it was fun Lori - and that is what counts, right? :-))

From now on it will be back to serious stuff :-)

John, I had a giggle when I posted the collage because I was thinking of what you and Felipe W. would be thinking of it! I think Felipe must have grabbed his head and moaned in despair; and you must have gone "Tsk, tsk ... she will never grow as an artist!"

It's such a pretty little pink thing - but looks so insipid on it's own, that's why I did the fun collage. It gave me experience and it took my mind off other serious stuff.

As for you falling in love with pink - about bloody time! :-))) I got some nice pinks yesterday and will be shooting them today and over the weekend. I hope to bring you something special :-)

I like these LInn, nice and PINK. Great way to get 4 of them on! LOL

I like the top right the best! But then, I REALLY like the left one also! They are all great images. Fantastic detail also! The centers are magnificent.

I think if the pink lines were much thinner, that would be really GREAT! Just my eye of course, to me they just to thick, I know it's all individual taste!

Nice job, Linn
Lori :)

Linn, This is very good. I like the detail on the daisies and the colors are right on. I would have just had the 3 frames and perhaps the right frame would have had a reverse of the left one. (if you can do that..?) I am thinking of buying PSE2 as I would like to play around with stuff I cannot do on my present program.
Keep em coming!
Best...
Bill

Good Morning Linn! This is a nice one! A beautiful flower like this certainly deserves many angles ... all of them so beautiful! If I had to choose my favourite, it would be the one in bottom right corner. ;-)
