Frank, another one of your into my favs! This is so beautiful, and so masterly captured. Look how you captured the DOF in the different layers of petals on the main subject! Stunning!
At first I thought the stems in the background could be destracting, but it actually fills the empty background and works extremely well here.
Composition is great, lighting is perfect, a perfect image proudly presented! Well done!!!!!
On a different note - I am very disappointed to see that your "The Rose" has attracted so few hits :-((
