Brian,

Let me begin by saying that I like your approach to minimalism.

I am torn as to whether the dull overcast sky works for or against you here. I'm trying to imagine one where a few clouds could be seen...

Also, I get the feeling a contrasty B&W version of this might have a bit more punch.

But whatever it is you're doing, it is working, so you should "ADHERE" to it :-)))
